Fuga supports two active Royal Canin integrations: the Multifunction ordering service and discount voucher scanning. The Loyalty points programme was previously supported but is no longer functional — Royal Canin changed their API in 2024.


Multifunction


Multifunction lets you order Royal Canin products on behalf of a client directly from within a consultation or sale. If the client has an email address known to both Fuga and Royal Canin, their details are pre-filled automatically on the Royal Canin website.

Setup

  1. Go to Instellingen => Praktijkvoorkeuren => Algemeen. Enter your practice's Royal Canin shop_id (username) and enable the Royal Canin Multifunction service.
  2. Add Royal Canin as a supplier via the Leverancier toevoegen action. Then go to Instellingen => Praktijkvoorkeuren => Stock and link the supplier interface "Royal Canin Multifunction" to the supplier you just created.
  3. Add your Multifunction products in Fuga without creating lots — Royal Canin manages the stock. On each product, set "Bestelling namens klant = Royal Canin Multifunction", then lock the product.

Placing an order for a client

  1. In a consultation or sale, add the Multifunction product via Extra uitgaande producten.
  2. Under Lot keuze, select Bestelling namens klant.
  3. Save. A lot is added to your stock and you are redirected to the Royal Canin website to place the actual order. If the client has a matching email address, their details are pre-filled.

The Royal Canin website opens in a new window. If your browser blocks pop-ups, allow pop-ups from sonetas.eu in your browser settings.

Ordering for the practice

To order for the practice itself rather than a specific client, use the action Ga naar Royal Canin Multifunction.


Discount vouchers


Royal Canin discount vouchers can be scanned and applied directly in Fuga via a Vrije boeking in a consultation or sale.

Setup

  1. Go to Instellingen => Praktijkvoorkeuren => Algemeen. Enter your shop_id and enable the Royal Canin Kortingsbon service.

Applying a voucher

  1. In a consultation or sale, look for the extra scan icon in the Vrije boekingen table (visible once the service is enabled).
  2. Click it and scan the voucher's barcode. The discount amount appears.
  3. Save. The voucher is applied and cannot be used again.

Loyalty programme (discontinued)


The Royal Canin Loyalty points programme is no longer supported. Royal Canin changed their API, which broke the integration. The settings may still be visible in Fuga but point registrations are not sent to Royal Canin.
