Concerto is a system within Fuga that lets you, as an overarching organisation, group or chain, manage your practices jointly. This makes it possible to create and manage, among other things, products, acts, protocols, templates and care plans. In this way you can apply standardisations across the various databases.
For Concerto you need a separate 'master' Fuga. Via the Concerto icon in the database you can obtain an overview of your managed practices. This is a list that we at Fuga can edit.

Synchronising from Concerto
From the master database you can push acts, products, protocols and templates (and also care plans and queries) to the practices you manage. The synchronisation runs in one direction: from Concerto to the practice, never the other way around. What you set up in the master is thus applied in the same way in all chosen practices.
General procedure
The way of synchronising is identical for acts, products, protocols and templates:
- In the master, go to Settings => the relevant list (Acts, Products, Protocols or Templates).
- Find the item you want to synchronise.
- Click the Synchronise option.
- Select which data you want to synchronise.
- Choose the destination practice(s).
- Confirm with Synchronise. A pop-up confirms that the operation succeeded.
To synchronise existing items you follow the same steps. When an item has previously been synchronised to the chosen practice(s), the ticked options are automatically adjusted to the existing link.
Synchronising acts
Create the necessary acts in the master beforehand and check that they do not yet exist in the practices where you want to add them. Then go to Settings => Acts and follow the general procedure above.
For an act you can synchronise, among others, the following data:
- Name
- Price and minimum price
- Activation status (active or inactive)
- Description
- Animal species
- Duration
- Label
- Group ID and price category group
- Level of conformity

Synchronising products
Create the products in the master first and check that they do not yet exist in the target practices. Then go to Settings => Products and follow the general procedure.
For a product you can synchronise, among others, the following data:
- Name
- Price, VAT, price deviation, surcharge and quantity discount
- Activation status
- Unit and number of units
- Type
- Label and CNK number
- Antibiotic tax
- Loyalty card
- Leaflet / medicine info
- Product properties
- Group ID and price category group
- Level of conformity
Specific to products: during synchronisation it is first checked whether a product with the same name already exists in the target practice. If it already exists, then synchronisation is done with that existing product instead of creating a new product. Products thus form an exception to the general rule about duplicate names further on in this article (where, for the other items, a new item is created).

Synchronising protocols
First synchronise the necessary acts, products and sub-protocols used in the protocol to the target practices. Then create the protocol in the master, check that it does not yet exist in the target practices, go to Settings => Protocols and follow the general procedure. You can also synchronise multiple protocols at once via the Synchronise multiple protocols option.
For a protocol you can synchronise, among others, the following data:
- Name
- Description
- Animal species
- Price and minimum price
- Duration
- Activation status
- Type and type-specific fields (e.g. diseases, number of treatments)
- Linked acts, products and sub-protocols
- Period
- Template
- Sterilised
- Label
- Group ID and price category group
- Level of conformity
Important: always synchronise the underlying acts, products and sub-protocols first, otherwise the protocol cannot be linked correctly in the target practice. If no status is provided during the first synchronisation, the protocol is automatically set to "inactive".

Synchronising templates
Go to Settings => Templates and follow the general procedure. Standard templates are not synchronised along; only your own templates from the master.
For a template you can synchronise, among others, the following data:
- Name
- Type
- File type
- Destination
- Language
- Content
- Title and headers (top left / top right)
- Layout mode
- Group ID
- Level of conformity
Important notes
Duplicate names: if you synchronise an act, protocol or template to a practice where an item with the same name already exists without a previous synchronisation link, a new item is created instead of being linked to the existing one. For products this does not apply: there, synchronisation is done with an existing product with the same name (see "Synchronising products" above).
Default status: if no status is provided during the first synchronisation, the item is automatically set to "inactive".
The practice may change the name of a synchronised item afterwards. The link with Concerto is retained, but do make sure that changes do not disrupt the consistency of the data.
Frequently asked questions
Can I delete a synchronised item?
No, you can only deactivate an item. Permanent deletion is not possible.
Can I synchronise an existing item from the practice to Concerto?
No, the synchronisation runs in one direction: only from Concerto to the practice, not the other way around.
May the practice change the name of an item?
Yes, the practice may change the name. The link with Concerto stays intact, but do check the consistency of the data after the change.
