Making client groups in Fuga allows you to manage specific pricing and conditions for different segments of your clients. Follow the steps below to create and use client groups effectively.
1. Accessing the client group settings
- Go to the Configuration menu.
- Click on Actions.
- Select Add client group.

This will open a new window where you can create and configure a new client group.
2. Creating a new client group
- Enter a name for your new client group (for example, "Large cattle farmers", "Small cattle farmers", "Medium-sized pig farmers", "Poultry farms").
- Click Save to confirm.

Tip: choose clear and descriptive names so that you and your colleagues can easily recognize the purpose of each group.
3. Assigning a client to a group
After creating one or more groups, you can assign customers to their respective group.
- Open the customer file of the desired client and go to the General section.
- In the field Client group, select the appropriate group from the dropdown list.
- Save the changes.

Good to know:
- This step must be done individually per customer.
- Each customer can belong to only one group, choose the group that best represents them.
4. Setting group-specific prices
You can configure specific prices for each customer group in the Price agreements section:
- Go to Price agreements in your product or act settings.
- Define a price per customer group.
- You can also define a custom price per individual customer.

The same can be done with Acts:

How pricing works in Fuga
When determining the price of a product or an act, Fuga follows this order:
- Customer-specific price, if available.
- Otherwise, the customer group price, if defined.
- If neither is defined, the default product price is applied.
5. Updating prices via the stock module
You can also update prices for products linked to customer groups or individual clients directly through the stock module.
Go to Stock > Actions > Price change products with price agreements (percentage)
Choose the products you want to update by selecting one of the following filters:
All products
Type
Label starts with
Group ID starts with

By default, the change applies to all client groups or all clients.
If you uncheck the box All client groups or All clients, you can apply the change to a specific selection of clients or groups instead.
Apply the desired percentage change to adjust the prices.

This is a quick way to apply general price updates to multiple products at once, keeping your price agreements consistent across groups.
The same process also applies to Acts: you can adjust prices per client or per client group using the same method.

6. Best practices
- Review your customer groups periodically to keep them relevant.
- Use groups to simplify promotions or special pricing agreements.
- Make sure to communicate clearly with your team about how prices are managed within groups.
